Timeshares vs. Travel Clubs
There are some experiences in life that you simply can’t put a price on. The opportunity to travel near and far is one of those invaluable experiences that life has to offer. The journeys and adventures continue to be rich!
As an individual and family that love to travel, it just made since that we invested in the opportunity to leverage access to resorts, amenities, activities and all things travel around the world at a great price point!
We sought to secure our travel legacy right after we purchased our first home, at that time, we chose to invest in a timeshare. As the years went by, and our thirst for travel continued, before it was all said and done, we invested in 4 timeshares, 3 on the east coast and 1 in the mid-west/west coast. Specifically in Myrtle Beach, SC., Shanendoah Valley, VA, Orlando Florida and Las Vegas, NV.
Timeshares have been a major play in the travel industry and the travel experiences we’ve had far outweigh the faults of the timeshare industry. And there are definitely many faults speaking from experience.
During this series I share our personal experience of Timeshare ‘ownership’ versus Travel Club membership. We are in fact proud members of a travel club, however you’ll learn more about that through this series.

To date, we still have ‘ownership’ of the timeshare in LasVegas, our plan is to release ownership of that timeshare as well.
